Why you need it
Stripe is what takes the money. Without it your assistant can still show prices and answer questions, but customers can't check out. Payouts go to your own bank account — Raglie never holds your funds and never sees card details.
Connecting
- Make sure selling is turned on — see Answering vs selling
- Go to Settings → Selling → Payments, or use the Payments tile on your dashboard
- Click Connect Stripe account
- Complete Stripe's onboarding — business details, a bank account for payouts, and identity verification
- You'll be returned to Raglie once it's done
If you already have a Stripe account you can connect that instead of creating a new one.
What Stripe will ask for
- Business name, address, and tax ID where applicable
- A bank account to be paid into
- Government-issued photo ID for identity verification
- Occasionally, extra documents depending on your country and business type
⚠️ Start this early
Verification is usually quick but can take several days. Don't leave it until the day you planned to go live — have your documents to hand before you start.
