Importing your catalog

Two ways in

Both live at Catalog → Add item → Import, on separate tabs. Either way you get a review step before anything is saved, so nothing lands in your catalog without you seeing it first.

Spreadsheet import

1. Open the CSV / Spreadsheet tab and download the example file
2. Fill in your items. Only two columns are required:
   • name — required
   • price — required
   • description — worth filling in; it's what the assistant answers from
   • category — the section name. Sections that don't exist yet are created for you.
   • tags — comma-separated
   • externalLinkUrl and externalLinkLabel — for items that send customers elsewhere rather than into a cart
3. Save as CSV and upload it
4. Review what was read, fix anything wrong, and confirm

Photo import

Restaurants can photograph a printed menu and have the items extracted automatically — names, prices, descriptions and sections all at once.

1. Photograph each page, straight-on and in good light
2. Open the AI Image Import tab
3. Upload one or more photos (JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 4MB each)
4. Wait while the items are extracted
5. Review and edit before confirming
