Embedded tools

Booking links and forms that open inside the chat.

What they are

An embedded tool is a booking page, form or other web page that opens inside the chat, so a customer can finish what they came to do without leaving the conversation. You define each tool; the assistant decides when to offer it, based on instructions you write.

This is the bridge to systems you already run. If your bookings live in Calendly and your enquiries in a form, Raglie doesn't need to replace either.

Adding one

  1. Go to Knowledge → Assistant purpose
  2. Scroll to Embedded tools and expand it
  3. Click Add tool, fill in the fields, then click Save tools

Tools save separately from the cards above them — always use Save tools after changing one. You can have up to 20.

The fields

  • Title — shown above the tool and on any shortcut buttons. Keep it short.
  • Icon — optional, by upload or URL. Square images look best at small sizes.
  • Show on chat menu — lists the tool alongside your catalog sections and in the slide-out menu, so customers can reach it without asking.
  • When the AI should open this — the important one. Describe the moment in the words customers use: "when someone asks to book, make an appointment, or check availability".
  • Embed URL or HTML — an HTTPS link, or the embed snippet your provider gives you.

What works

Calendly is handled with its official inline widget when you paste a valid link or snippet. Most other services work if they offer an HTTPS page or an iframe embed that permits being shown inside another page. Some deliberately block this — if a tool stays blank, that's usually why, and the provider's own embed documentation will say so.

💡 Pro tip

Write the "when to open" text as a list of real customer phrasings rather than a category. "when someone wants to book, reserve a table, or asks about availability" gets offered at the right moment far more reliably than "booking".
