Check your settings first
- Go to Settings → Business → Notifications
- Check Email me about new orders is on
- Check the notification email address is correct and one you actually read
- For customer emails, check Email customers on status changes is on
- Save if you changed anything
Going to spam
- Look in your spam or junk folder
- Mark one as "not spam" — that usually fixes it for good
- Add the sender to your contacts
- On a work address, a filter or gateway may be holding them. Your IT provider can allowlist the sender.
Wrong address
- Check for typos — one wrong character and nothing arrives, silently
- Send a test email to it from somewhere else to prove it works
- A shared inbox is a good idea if more than one person needs to see orders
Customers say they got nothing
- Check customer notifications are switched on
- Check the address on the order itself — customers do mistype their own
- Ask them to check spam
💡 Don't rely on email alone
During service, turn on the sound alert on the Orders page. It doesn't depend on mail being delivered, filtered or noticed. See Viewing orders.
