Where this lives
Settings → Site → Search & sharing. These three fields control how your hosted page looks in search results and when someone shares the link.
They apply to your Raglie-hosted page. If you've embedded the assistant into a site you already have, that site's own settings govern its search listing — these don't override them.
Page title
The headline in search results and the browser tab.
- Keep it under 60 characters — longer titles get cut off
- Lead with your business name
- Add your town or area if you serve one
- Say what you offer
Examples
- "Mario's Pizza — Menu & Online Ordering, Downtown Chicago"
- "Bright Salon — Book Treatments Online, Leeds"
- "Hartley Joinery — Bespoke Fitted Furniture, Bristol"
Left blank: your business name is used.
Meta description
The paragraph under the title in search results.
- Aim for 150–160 characters
- Say what someone will find and what they can do
- Mention what you're actually known for
- Write for a person — keyword stuffing reads badly and doesn't help
Examples
- "Order authentic Neapolitan pizza from Mario's for pickup or delivery. Browse the menu, ask about ingredients, and order in a couple of taps. Family-run since 1985."
- "Browse treatments at Bright Salon and book online in seconds. Cuts, colour and aftercare advice, seven days a week in central Leeds."
Left blank: one is generated from your business name and type.
Social preview image
The picture that appears when your link is shared on social media or in a messaging app.
- 1200×630 pixels works everywhere
- Use your logo, or a genuinely good photo of what you sell
- JPG, PNG or WebP; keep it under about 1MB
- Any text on it needs to be readable at thumbnail size
Left blank: your logo is used, or a default image.
💡 Pro tip
For a local business, a well-kept Google Business Profile moves the needle more than these fields do. See Google Business Profile. Search engines can take a few days to pick up changes here.
