What belongs here

Anything you find yourself answering repeatedly that isn't a hard fact about hours, contact details or a specific item.

  • "Do you take walk-ins?"
  • "Is there parking?"
  • "Can I bring my own wine?"
  • "How far in advance should I book?"
  • "Do you cater for large groups?"

FAQs, policies and documents

Three places can hold prose, and they're not interchangeable:

  • Business basics โ†’ Policies for rules you'd want quoted precisely. These outrank FAQs.
  • FAQs for question-shaped things โ€” short, specific, one topic each.
  • Documents for longer material you already have written down. These rank below FAQs.

If the same fact lives in two of them and they disagree, the higher-ranked one wins. See How Knowledge works.

๐Ÿ’ก Pro tip

Phrase the question as a customer would type it, not as you'd file it. "Can I bring my dog?" beats "Pet policy" โ€” the wording is part of how the question gets matched.
